Funding Disclaimer

Last updated October 29, 2026

Summary: We are not a lender. Funding is offered by a third-party partner, approval is not guaranteed, the 0% rate is introductory for up to 24 months, and applying involves your personal credit.

We Are Not a Lender

NY Startup Funding is an informational website operated by Funded and Running, an independent referral partner of Reveal Lending. We do not lend money, arrange loans on your behalf, or make credit decisions. All funding is provided by third parties under their own terms.

No Guarantee of Approval

All funding is subject to credit review and approval by the funding partner and its lenders. Meeting the published minimums, including a 680+ FICO score and keeping each credit card below 50% utilization, does not guarantee approval or any particular amount.

Amounts and Terms

  • "Up to $150,000" is the program maximum. Many applicants are offered less.
  • The 0% rate is introductory and lasts up to 24 months, depending on the specific product. When it ends, the standard rate on each account applies to any remaining balance.
  • Fees, rates, and repayment terms are set by the funding partner and its lenders and may change at any time without notice to us.
  • Program details on this site reflect information provided by our funding partner as of the date above. Always rely on the final documents you receive before accepting.

Credit Impact

Checking your own credit report at annualcreditreport.com does not affect your score. Applying for credit-based funding can involve credit inquiries and new accounts that may affect your credit profile and score. Ask the funding partner how the process works before you apply.

Personal Responsibility

Credit-based funding may require a personal guarantee or personal liability for repayment. Borrow only what you can repay, and plan how you will manage the balance after the introductory period ends.

Not Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Content on this site is general information for New York entrepreneurs. It is not financial, legal, tax, or credit advice. Consult a qualified professional about your situation.

Availability

Programs may not be available to every applicant, business type, or location, and may be changed or discontinued at any time.

You have the idea. You have the plan. Maybe you've even picked out the name.

But when you walk into a bank, the first thing they ask for is two years of business history. And on day one, you don't have it.

That's the wall most New York entrepreneurs hit. Not a bad idea. Just no track record yet.

There's another way to fund a startup. It's called credit-based startup funding, and it's built for founders who are just getting started.

Instead of looking at your business history, approval is based on your personal credit.

That means no revenue required. No time in business. No bank statements. No tax returns.

Qualified founders can get up to $150,000, with an introductory 0% rate for up to 24 months.

Here's what you need. A FICO score of 680 or higher. Every credit card below 50% of its limit, with none maxed out. And a credit report pulled within the last seven days, with no credit freezes.

You can pull your report for free at annualcreditreport.com. Checking your own credit doesn't affect your score.

From Buffalo to Brooklyn, from Albany to Long Island, New Yorkers are turning ideas into businesses.

If you have the idea, the mission, and the credit, the funding may be closer than you think.
